Residential Builder Pre-Licensure
The Residential Builder’s Pre-licensure Certificate Program will provide instruction to participants enabling them to learn about Business Management, Estimating, Design and Building Science, Contracts, Risk Management and Project Management. Participants will be introduced to Michigan Residential and Construction Safety Standards, as well as management, marketing, and sales techniques.
Construction Combo
The Construction Combo Certificate Program allows you to receive residential builder, carpentry, and drywall training. These courses will prepare participants for reading measurements relevant to the industry, reading blueprints, and understanding calculations necessary for job completion. In addition will be introduced to carpentry, drywall, power tools, framing, leveling, energy conservation other techniques, and safety procedures.
