DRM ILC offers 4 Healthcare Training Programs and 5 Healthcare Training Classes for students in the Greater Lansing area.

As a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) you will be a vital member of a patient’s overall healthcare team, which also includes physicians, nurses, physical therapists and dieticians. CNAs have the most direct contact with patients, and therefore are often the first members of the healthcare team to notice changes in a patient’s physical, mental, & emotional health.

Phlebotomy is the act of drawing or removing blood from the circulatory system, through an incision or puncture in a vein – or artery – in order to obtain a blood sample for analysis and diagnosis.  A person who draws blood professionally is known as a phlebotomist.

Our Certified Nurse Assistant & Phlebotomy Training takes 4 weeks to complete. Upon completion, you will be eligible to sit for both the Prometric Exam to become a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) and the NHA Exam to become a Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT).

Training Classes

Our CPR & First Aide certification class is credentialed by the American Heart Association and will give you the necessary training to perform lifesaving techniques on infants, children, and adults. This class will also fulfill the requirement for all healthcare providers such as nurses, dentists, and other related professions.

Upon completion of the class, you receive certification in CPR & First Aide administration.
