Course Description
Medical Assistants, or MAs, are the most versatile members of a healthcare team. From Nursing Homes & Hospitals, to Doctor’s Offices & Outpatient Clinics – Medical Assistants are trained to work in virtually any healthcare environment.
Students of DRM International Learning Center’s accelerated 8 Week Medical Assistant program will receive training in:
- Patient Care
- Phlebotomy
- Electrocardiography
- Medical Terminology
- Advanced Wound Care
- Advanced Medication Administration
- Medical Office Management
- Assisting with Surgical Procedures
- CPR & First Aide

Upon completion of our Medical Assistant program, graduates will be eligible to become certified as a:
- Certified Nurse Aide (Headmaster D & S)
- Certified Phlebotomy Technician (NHA)
- Certified Patient Care Technician (NHA)
- Certified Medical Assistant (NHA)
